Culinary Arts Mexico Style. ONLINE REGISTRATION
Learn from one of the world’s greatest cuisines in a unique summer culinary arts program.
Where: Centro de Estudios Superiores de San Angel (CESSA), at Mexico City, Mexico. When: June 15 – 29, 2008. Directed to: Anyone registered as student at the University of Houston who loves Culinary Arts as well as anyone who may wish to become a Restaurant owner – manager. How: Hands-on instruction. Cultural & touristic visits, restaurant experiences and much more at one of the biggest and more sophisticated cities in the world. Language The curriculum is in English. Includes the following:
- Ground transportation Airport – House – Airport.
- Daily transportation House – CESSA – House. (Monday through Friday).
- Housing for the two weeks on double or triple occupancy basis, with kitchens and housekeeping service.
- Self serve breakfast during all stay.
- Daily coffee breaks (Monday – Friday).
- Daily lunch at CESSA (Monday - Friday).
- One dinner experience at the San Angel Inn Restaurant.
- All ingredients and materials for the cooking classes.
Weekends.
Three different excursions have been planned to allow participants to discover some of the most important historic and cultural places on earth:
- Mexico City center and the Great Temple of the Aztecs. June 21.
- Teotihuacan archeological site. June 22.
- San Angel and Coyoacan. June 28.
Excursions are elective and need a minimum of four people, prices may vary according to the number of participants.
Dining experiencesDifferent restaurants have been selected in order to give the participants a broad idea of what Mexico’s Restaurant Industry offers is. (Meal selection is dinner in all cases and participation is optional).
